On a visit to India for a wedding, Times reader "bowener" captured this sunset scene at Kannur Beach in the state of Kerala.
"We were invited to a wedding in a remote village," said the photographer. "We ended up being the guests of honor at a traditional Hindu temple wedding. This shot was taken the night before."
Kerala, in southwestern India, is known for its beaches and vast coconut groves.
