Sandra Bernhard On her new live comedy album, "I Love Being Me, Don't You?," Sandra Bernhard careens from acidic commentary about Angelina Jolie's lips to her daughter's recent bat mitzvah gift wish — a Japanese toilet — to how kabbalah "went all wrong." Now, Bernhard will perform some of that material live — along with plenty of new comedy and music — in her latest staged show of the same name. Collectors' Favorites This special exhibition of photographs on loan from private collections of members of LACMA's Photographic Arts Council, features 60 artworks from the 1880s to the present. The show features masters of photography such as Karl Struss, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Ruth Bernard, Bruce Davidson, James Van Der Zee, W. Eugene Smith and Heinrich Kühn. WWE SummerSlam Axxess Wrestling fans will have a chance to get up close and personal with muscle-bound heroes and villains at WWE SummerSlam Axxess, featuring matches, Q&As, autographs, merchandise and more. It all leads up to Sunday evening's SummerSlam main event at Staples Center, which will also be available via pay-per-view. Nokia Plaza, 800 W. Great Sand Sculpture Contest Amateur and professional sand sculptors will converge in Long Beach, turning ordinary dunes into intricate castles and other imaginative structures. Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories, and the event offers live music, food, vendors and a kids' zone. Granada Beach, 1 Granada Ave., Long Beach. 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sat. Free.
