Carson (8-5) vs. Harbor City Narbonne (10-3) at East Los Angeles College, 8 p.m. Time Warner Cable: Carson is an 11-time City champion who's trying to reverse a 38-37 setback to the Gauchos in Marine League play. The Colts have been running the ball successfully in the playoffs behind Roger Jones. But it's going to come down to trying to slow the tempo of Narbonne's high-powered offense that has scored 52, 59 and 41 points in three playoff victories. The pick: Narbonne.

Los Angeles Marshall (11-2) vs. South East (12-1) at East Los Angeles College, 4 p.m. Time Warner Cable: The scoreboard operator will get no breaks in what figures to be a game featuring lots of scoring. South East running back Robert Lewis has rushed for 2,004 yards and 30 touchdowns. Marshall quarterback Anthony Benitez has passed for 2,656 yards and 35 touchdowns. The pick: South East.
Corona Centennial (12-1) at Vista Murrieta (8-5), 8 p.m., Prime Ticket: Stopping Centennial running back Romello Goodman won't be easy. He scored eight touchdowns in a quarterfinal victory. But Vista Murrieta's defense shut down a high-scoring Upland team last week and gets the Huskies on their home field, where they can turn loose the versatile Su'a Cravens. The pick: Vista Murrieta.
Westlake Village Westlake (13-0) at Westlake Village Oaks Christian (11-2), 7:30 p.m. FS West: Westlake is one win away from earning its first CIF state championship bowl berth. The Warriors haven't been challenged in the playoffs, but neighborhood rival Oaks Christian has some new strategies ready to try. Sophomore quarterback Brandon Dawkins has shown he can play well in pressure games. Westlake, though, has the impressive duo of quarterback Justin Moore and running back Dashon Hunt. The pick: Westlake.
Culver City (10-3) at Arroyo Grande (12-1), 7:30 p.m. FoxSportsWest.com: Culver City is trying to pull off the rare feat of knocking off the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds en route to winning the championship. The Centaurs have athleticism, speed and a little fearlessness, but a long road trip will be challenging. Arroyo Grande has its own top athletes in kicker-receiver Garrett Owens and linebacker Seth Jacobs. The pick: Arroyo Grande.
Rancho Verde (13-0) at Palm Springs (13-0), 7:30 p.m. FoxSportsWest.com: It's the battle of the unbeatens. Rancho Verde lost in last year's final to Colton and has been routing opponents. Palm Springs' defense has allowed 21 points in the playoffs. The pick: Rancho Verde.
West Covina (12-1) at Whittier La Serna (10-3) at California, 7 p.m. FoxSportsWest.com: Who's going to stop Chris Solomon of West Covina? He had five touchdowns last week in a semifinal victory over La Mirada. The pick: West Covina.
Newport Beach Corona del Mar (11-2) vs. Irvine Beckman (11-2) at Orange Coast College, 7:30 p.m. FoxSportsWest.com: It's the battle of Pacific Coast League teams. Beckman beat Corona del Mar, 42-37, in the regular season. Beckman's Jeff Kim has rushed for more than 100 yards eight times this season. Corona del Mar hasn't been to a championship game since 1989. Lompoc (13-0) vs. Cabrillo Lompoc (11-2) at Lompoc, 7 p.m. FoxSportsWest.com: The city of Lompoc will be out in force to watch this neighborhood rivalry. A win by Lompoc will send the Braves to the CIF state bowl championships in Division III. Running back Lavon Coleman has been outstanding. The pick: Lompoc.
San Clemente (12-1) vs. Santa Margarita (11-2) at Angel Stadium, 7:30 p.m. Prime Ticket: Both teams have reached peak form at the right time. Both teams rely on big, powerful offensive lines. Quarterback Travis Wilson of San Clemente is graduating early to enroll at Utah, so he wants to make his final game a memorable one. Junior quarterback Johnny Stanton of Santa Margarita has been turning in most-valuable-player performances all season. It's going to come down to can San Clemente's defense slow down the Eagles and will Wilson be able to make enough big plays for the Tritons? The pick: Santa Margarita.
