Update: The Ducks were outscored 3-0 in the first period of Wednesday's loss to the San Jose Sharks. But when in Denver, Anaheim has outscored the Avalanche 7-2 in the first periods of their last four meetings there — and won each time. The Ducks are still without center Ryan Getzlaf, who could return next week. Colorado will be playing its seventh consecutive game at home, where it has lost four of its last five.
