Is it possible for a spray to take the stress out of travel?  I was skeptical when I first began packing Hellomellow Energy Shifting Sprays in my carry-on and checked luggage.

The sprays are aromatherapy misting spritzers composed of distilled water and glycerin mixed with pure essential oil. You can spray it on your face or hands in flight to combat  dry cabin air.  Or try it in your hotel room to freshen up the air.  The formulas in the travel six-pack are Revitalize, Uplift, Rejuvenate, Balance, Empower and Relax.

I’ve also sprayed airline seats and my pillowcase in hotels with the Hellomellow sprays.  I'm not certain that the sprays have prevented colds, but they have made me feel better when I travel.

Hellomellow’s energy shifting sprays, body butters, lip balms and other products made from essential oils are now available at three Westside locations:

--Whole Foods in Venice (225 Lincoln Blvd.);

--Whole Foods in El Segundo (760 S. Sepulveda Blvd.); and

--Hellomellow booth at the Sunday Santa Monica Farmer’s Market (Main Street and Ocean Park Boulevard.).

On Feb. 11, Hellomellow will open its first retail store at 11527 A W. Washington Blvd., Culver City; (310) 313-3193.

Cost: $44  for six 2-ounce bottles of the Energy Shifting Sprays, which usually retail for $66. Whole Foods carries individual sprays, but the six-pack is available only online or at Hellomellow locations.
