Air France deal: Get 10% off airfares with online code

January 28, 2011|By Benoit Lebourgeois | Special to the Los Angeles Times

Not one to add the latest gizmo to my already burdened computer I nevertheless downloaded Air France’s free Widget app, a cube that now occasionally pops up on my screen with low-fare alerts. That's how I found this deal. You need to book by Monday to take advantage of it.

The deal: Use the "WINTER925" coupon code to knock 10% off Air France fares that you book on the airline’s website.

The code works on round-trip and multi-destination itineraries in Voyageur (economy) class that originate in the U.S. for travel to destinations served by Air France-operated flights. It does not apply to fares in Affaires (business) and Première (first) cabins.

When: Book by Monday for flights through the end of March. The outbound segment must depart before March 31.

Tested: After selecting my flights and arriving at the "passenger details" page, I found the "Do you have a coupon code?" drop-down menu toward the bottom and entered "WINTER925." The discount was applied to the base fare before taxes and surcharges. In my case, the code deducted $70 from my fare for a multi-city itinerary from Los Angeles to Paris and Geneva in February.

Contact: Air France. You must book online to get the discount.
