World Vision International: It has been fighting hunger in the Horn of Africa for many years. The agency says the effect of donations is multipled fivefold by government grants to help provide food, clean water, agricultural support, health care, and other vital assistance to children and families in need.
International Rescue Committee: The International Rescue Committee says 92% if its funding is spent on programs, 5% on administration and 3% on fudnraising. It has had a team in the region for many years.
Mercy Corps: Mercy Corps has teams on the ground in Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya, providing food, water and other critical assistance to hungry families.
