The Big Bang Theory: In this new episode, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) is forced to choose between his friendship with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and his relationship with new girlfriend (Aarti Mann) (8 p.m. CBS).

Bones: After a sniper Jacob (Arnold Vosloo) takes out a suspect who escaped the justice system Booth (David Boreanaz) uses his military training to try to stop him before he strikes again in this new episode (9 p.m. Fox).

Fairly Legal: The lead singer (Chris Vance) of a 1990s band that had only one hit turns to Kate (Sarah Shahi) for help when he wants to cash in on a hefty offer to use the song in a commercial in this new episode (10 p.m. USA).


Polar Bear — Spy in the Cold: This new special employs spy cameras to take viewers closer than ever before to the polar bear in its natural habitat (10 p.m. Animal Planet).


Finding Nemo: An Academy Award for best animated feature went to this dazzling 2003 box-office blockbuster from Pixar. A neurotic clownfish (Albert Brooks) teams up with a cheerful but scatterbrained blue tang fish (Ellen DeGeneres ) to search for his son (Alexander Gould), who has been captured by a diver. Other voices include Geoffrey Rush, Allison Janney and Willem Dafoe (8 p.m. Disney).


College basketball: Big East quarterfinals (9, 11 a.m.; 4, 6 p.m. ESPN). Big 12 quarterfinals (9:30 a.m.; 6:30 p.m. ESPN2). Big Ten first round (11:30 a.m.; 1:30 p.m. ESPN2). Pac-10 quarterfinals: California vs. USC (Noon FSN); (2:30 p.m. FSN); TBA vs. UCLA (6 p.m. FSN); Washington vs. Washington State (8:30 p.m. FSN). ACC first round: Maryland vs. North Carolina State (4 p.m. ESPN2).
