Update: Actress Linda Evans, known for her role as Krystle Carrington on the '80s hit show "Dynasty," has sold her Beverly Hills Post Office-area home for $2.7 million.
The one-story ranch house, built in 1937, sits on a half-acre behind gates and tall hedges. A main house and a detached guest unit/office have a total of four bedrooms and 51/2 bathrooms in about 3,900 square feet of living space. The grounds include a circular motor court, mature trees, a rose garden and a swimming pool.
Evans, whose series included "The Big Valley" (1965-69), sold because she moved to the state of Washington.
She bought the property in 1981 for $590,000, according to public records.
Cristie St. James and Markus Canter of Prudential California, Beverly Hills, were the listing agents. Jodi Korn Radoff of Sotheby's International Realty, Beverly Hills, represented the buyers.
