Southern California regional finals, Saturday

At Galen Center

Division I: Santa Ana Mater Dei (30-3) vs. Corona Centennial (30-4), 8 p.m. — These teams met in a Southern Section 1AA semifinal and Centennial rallied for a 60-58 victory. Mater Dei controlled the pace in the first half, Centennial in the second half. If the Huskies' defense can force turnovers and they hit some outside shots at the other end, Mater Dei could be in trouble. But the Monarchs will be better prepared this time, and Katin Reinhardt, a USC commit, gets to play at his future home arena.

Division II: San Diego Lincoln (31-1) vs. Fontana Summit (27-7), 4 p.m. — UCLA-bound Norman Powell is averaging 20.4 points for Lincoln, which is trying for a second consecutive state title. Summit is athletic enough to run with the Hornets. Dorian Cason had 18 points in a semifinal victory over Rolling Hills Estates Peninsula.

Division III: La Canada (30-3) vs. La Verne Lutheran (25-5), noon — La Canada relies on teamwork, chemistry and accurate shooting. Mike McGlashan, a 6-foot-2 senior, is averaging 17 points and is a deadeye from three-point range. Lutheran has wins over highly regarded Orange Lutheran and North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake. Grant Jarrett, a 6-9 junior committed to Arizona, is tough inside.

Division IV: Westlake Village Oaks Christian (26-7) vs. Los Angeles Windward (25-8), 7 p.m. — Windward defeated Oaks Christian on Feb. 5, 72-53, and has been dominant in the playoffs because of Harvard-bound Wesley Saunders and improving junior Nicholas Stover, whose older brother Anthony is a center for UCLA. Oaks Christian has players who know how to perform under pressure. Guard Blair Holliday and center Dillon van der Wal were key members of the Lions' championship football team.

Division V: Chatsworth Sierra Canyon (27-5) vs. Playa del Rey St. Bernard (25-8), 3 p.m. — First-year Coach Reggie Morris has worked magic with St. Bernard, and sophomore Brandon Randolph is averaging 19 points. Top-seeded Sierra Canyon, led by sophomore guard Jahmel Taylor, has many weapons

Division I: Mater Dei (32-1) vs. Moreno Valley Canyon Springs (30-3), 6 p.m. — Both teams have wins over Brea Olinda, Mater Dei by a 63-54 margin in the Southern Section 1AA final, Canyon Springs by a 63-53 score in a regional semifinal last week. Mater Dei, led by state player of the year Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, is ranked No. 1 in the nation and is on a 24-game winning streak.

Division II: Rialto (32-3) vs. Ventura Buena (26-7), 2 p.m. — If the sequel matches the original, fans are in for a treat. Rialto defeated Buena, 55-53, on Janae' Sharpe's five-foot jumper at the buzzer in the Southern Section 2AA final. Buena is led by Keani Albanez, who had 19 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks in that first game against Rialto, in which there were 13 ties and 12 lead changes.

Division III: Gardena Serra (29-5) vs. Santa Maria St. Joseph (27-6), 10 a.m. — This is a rematch of the Southern Section 3AA final, won by Serra, 66-58, as Sierra Thompson scored 28 points. St. Joseph led by four points when center Alyson Beebe fouled out with six minutes 39 seconds left, and the Knights were then outscored 24-12. Beebe averages 20.7 points, 12.2 rebounds and 3.0 blocks.

At Ontario Colony High

Division IV: La Jolla Country Day (27-4) vs. Los Angeles Windward (27-4), 5 p.m. — Windward has lost to Country Day twice this season, but was without 6-7 junior Imani Stafford in both games. Stafford leads the Wildcats with averages of 11.9 rebounds and 4.3 blocks. Top-seeded Country Day has won 18 of its last 19 games, losing only to Santa Ana Mater Dei on Feb. 4 at the Nike Extravaganza.

Division V: Playa del Rey St. Bernard (23-14) vs. Oxnard Santa Clara (28-6), 1 p.m. — St. Bernard was favored when these teams met for the Southern Section 5AA title two weeks ago, but Santa Clara pulled off a 52-49 upset. The Saints are riding a 17-game winning streak, and senior center Keiana Vines is averaging 22.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.8 blocks.
