ON THE MOUND: With the exception of a shaky second inning, Chad Billingsley looked sharp in his final exhibition start. The runs charged to him came as a result of a walk and a hit batter, which were followed by a two-run double by Michael Brantley. Billingsley said he was pleased by how he threw his changeup this spring. The next time he takes the mound will be against the San Francisco Giants on April 1 in the second game of the regular season. Reliever Blake Hawksworth pitched two scoreless innings to lower his spring earned-run average to 2.61.
