Physics on the Fringe With Margaret Wertheim Pick up a new perspective on physics from the internationally noted science writer whose work focuses on the relationships between science and the wider cultural landscape. Wertheim has written three books dealing with the cultural history of physics, including "Pythagoras' Trousers," and the relationship between physics and religion. A Tribute to Spalding Gray Nell Casey, editor of the new book "The Journals of Spalding Gray," will discuss the life and work of the late writer and actor, who was best known for his confessional monologues. Casey will be joined by Times book critic David Ulin as well as Peter Gallagher and other actors, who will read from Gray's journals. Artillery Magazine Anthony Ausgang, Gordy Grundy, John Tottenham, Eve Wood and Mary Woronov read from their work at this showcase of material from the art criticism journal.
