COMEDY

UCB Watch a mind-numbingly uncomfortable Thanksgiving dinner unfold as performers from the comedy troupe the Upright Citizens Brigade improvise a meal. Think flatulent uncles, chatty aunts and grumpy dads, and with everyone flying by the seats of their pants, hilarity is sure to ensue. Food will be served to the audience as well. Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, 5919 Franklin Ave., L.A. 8 p.m. $5. http://www.losangeles.ucbtheatre.com.

Braaaaaainsgiving Zombie Party If you're a zombie, Thanksgiving is just another day when you're grateful for a meal — so long as it's made of brains. Mark Mogk, capitalizing on the zombie trend (they're the new vampires), will present his zombie handbooks with a lecture and slide show. "Everything You Wanted to Know About Zombies" promises to answer all your queries about the undead. La Luz de Jesus Gallery, 4633 Hollywood Blvd. 7 p.m. (323) 666-7667.

MUSIC

Big Sean At 23, the hip-hop star has made it to the big leagues, signing to Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music/Island Def Jam Recordings. He won't be shy about promoting his newfound success on his U.S. tour, "I Am Finally Famous." Galaxy Concert Theatre, 3503 S. Harbor Blvd., Santa Ana. 8 p.m. $22. (714) 957-0600. http://www.galaxytheatre.com.
