Panthers leading scorer Kris Versteeg did not practice Wednesday, according to the Sun-Sentinel. It was called a "maintenance" day, coming one day after he took an elbow to the face from Carolina's Derek Joslin. Meanwhile, on a financial front, Forbes magazine came out with its yearly list of most valuable NHL franchises and the Kings landed at No. 10. The top three are Toronto, the New York Rangers and Montreal.
