Westlake Village Oaks Christian (3-1, 3-0) at Westlake Village Westlake (4-0, 3-0), 7:30 p.m., FS West: The Marmonte League championship will be already decided in Week 5 if Oaks Christian pulls out the victory, because the Lions already own a win over Ventura St. Bonaventure and they aren't likely to lose any of their remaining league games. These two neighborhood rivals split two games last season, Westlake winning the league game and Oaks Christian winning the Northern Division title rematch. Westlake is averaging 51 points a game. Oaks Christian's offense has come alive under sophomore quarterback Brandon Dawkins. Westlake has a dominant defensive lineman in Colorado commit Justin Solis. The pick: Oaks Christian.
Riverside North (4-0, 1-0) at Corona Centennial (4-0, 1-0),
7 p.m., FoxSportsWest.com: North has made giant strides toward returning as a football powerhouse under second-year Coach Mark Paredes. North's win over Mission Hills Alemany let everyone know the Huskies can play against top teams. Quarterback Justin Gheorghe, an outfielder for the Division I champion baseball team, is a dangerous playmaker. The problem for North is figuring out how to slow down Centennial's high-powered offense in this Big VIII League showdown. The pick: Centennial.
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame (5-0) at West Hills Chaminade (3-1), 7:30 p.m. Two of the best junior running backs, Chaminade's Terrell Newby and Notre Dame's Khalfani Muhammad, square off. It's a final tuneup for Notre Dame before it opens Serra League play next week. Quarterback Kelly Hilinski might miss his second consecutive game while resting a knee injury. JJ Muno is a good runner and leader in his absence. The pick: Notre Dame.
Mission Viejo (4-1) at Redlands East Valley (4-0), 7 p.m., FoxSportsWest.com: There are no cupcakes on Mission Viejo's schedule. East Valley is capable of grinding it out on the ground behind running back Jesse Riley, who has rushed for more than 100 yards in three of four games. Mission Viejo, however, has many weapons and can produce big plays. The pick: Mission Viejo.
