Update: Former Ducks defenseman James Wisniewski returned to the Blue Jackets lineup last week after serving an eight-game suspension, but center Jeff Carter remains sidelined because of a stress fracture in his right foot. Blue Jackets General Manager Scott Howson took the unusual step of calling out everyone, including himself, for the team's early-season woes, putting his thoughts in a blog post on the team's official website. The Ducks recalled enforcer J.F. Jacques from Syracuse (N.Y.) of the American Hockey League, and he has served four games of a five-game suspension stemming from an incident in a preseason game against Vancouver.
