Fashion News: Duchess of Cambridge tops best-dressed list

Vanity Fair named the Duchess of Cambridge to the top of its international best-dressed list -- and is featuring her on the cover of its September issue. No, she didn't pose. The magazine is using a photo snapped at the 2011 BAFTA Brits to Watch gala. [Vanity Fair]

Others on the list included Prince Harry, Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco, Colin and Livia Firth, Stella McCartney, Bill Cunningham and Jessica Chastain, among others. [Styleite]

Then there's Vogue's best-dressed list for last week, which included Cate Blanchett, the Duchess of Cambridge, Samantha Cameron and Solange Knowles. The surprise? All 10 of the chic ladies on the list were wearing pants or skirts that didn't rise above the knee. Not a mini in sight.  [Vogue]

Designer Victoria Beckham guest-edited the September issue of Glamour, working at the task for about five months on a variety of features on topics including runway-ready hairstyles for actress Lily Collins, the British band the Wanted and bold eye makeup. [WWD]

Tyra Banks hired a personal life coach to help her deal with the stress of running a global empire. She made the move after considering abandoning her TV series, "America's Next Top Model."  The coach saved the day, teaching her how to not micromanage and to empower other people, she says.
