Twitter #Weekendeats highlights: Getting fruity

This morning's #Weekendeats chat on Twitter got pretty fruity as people shared their photos and recipes of fruity desserts, drinks and snacks from over the weekend. Peaches and blueberries seemed to be favorites, making appearances in everything from salsa to pies. Here are some of the highlights:

Daisy from the blog Daisy's World started things off with a kick with her boozy ice bellini pops and the blog Buttercream Blondie kept things shaking with peachy bourbon crumble cupcakes.
Kristina of the blog Onblank made a simple fresh peach sauce to go with some waffles, and Emily Baker of the blog 'A Gilt Nutmeg' shared a beautiful white peach cream cheese tart.

For the blueberry lovers, Carrie Fehr of the blog Kitchen Garden made blue corn blueberry pancakes. Diana Hossfeld of the blog Diana Takes a Bite shared a picture of her very first pie made with blueberries and peaches.

Launie and Jedd from the blog Teeny Tiny Kitchen shared the most unique blueberry dish. They used blueberries and lemon to make a spicy and lemony blueberry salsa.
