SERIES

Restaurant: Impossible:  The 50th episode looks back at some of the series more memorable episodes (9 p.m. Food).

Abandoned: Yet another treasure from trash series premieres with back-to-back episodes set in an 18th century Maryland mill and an old church in Philadelphia (9 and 9:30 p.m. National Geographic).

Royal Pains: During a polo tournament, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) treats a team owner who's in no condition to play but insists on taking the field. Gary Cole guest stars in this new episode (9 p.m. USA).

NY Med:  The unscripted series ends its run with a finale that features a mother who faces risky surgery to remove cancer from her abdomen and a new kind of surgery that gives hope to an 18-year-old with Crohn's disease (10 p.m. ABC).

Top Chef Masters:  In this new episode, the chefs prepare a dish for the folk duo Indigo Girls, then they put together a poolside brunch hosted by Holly Madison (10 p.m. Bravo).

Dirty Jobs: Down Under:  Mike Rowe travels down the northern coast of Australia to work and hunt with Aboriginals who have lived off the land for more than 40,000 years in the premiere of this new spinoff (10 p.m. Discovery).

Necessary Roughness: Dani (Callie Thorne) treats two tennis players in this new episode (10 p.m. USA).

SPORTS

Baseball: The Chicago Cubs visit the Milwaukee Brewers (11 a.m. WGN A); the Angels visit the Boston Red Sox (4 p.m. FSN); the New York Yankees visit the Chicago White Sox (5 p.m. ESPN2); the San Francisco Giants visit the Dodgers (7 p.m. KCAL).

Soccer: Chelsea FC vs. Reading FC (11:30 a.m. ESPN2); Malaga CF vs. Panathinaikos FC (11:30 a.m. FSN).

Little League baseball: World Series (1 and 5 p.m. ESPN).

Cycling: USA Pro Challenge (1 p.m. NBCSP).
