Kelly Ripa co-host will be NFL alum Michael Strahan

It's been nine months since Regis Philbin retired from the "Live with Regis and Kelly" show and Kelly Ripa is finally getting a new co-host. Ex NFL player Michael Strahan has signed on as Ripa's new partner and is slated to appear on the show Sept. 4. [USA Today]

Rumors are swirling around that Niki Minaj may join Mariah Carey as a judge on the next season of "American Idol." Minaj is known for her bold fashion choices and colored hair and could definitely give the show a boost, sartorially. [US Weekly].

The first pictures of Vogue creative director Grace Coddington's capsule collection with Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga are finally up. Coddington's drawings of her petit chat will serve as the focal point for the line of scarves and bags. The line will launch on Fashion's Night Out. [Cut]

Carolina Herrera has released a behind-the-scenes video of its fall 2012 campaign on the brand's Facebook page. The campaign features the catchy song "Don't Move" by Phantogram.

Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, Usher, Tory Burch, Victoria Beckham, Marc Jacobs and more all make appearances in Vogue's new Fashion's Night Out promotional video. All the actors, musicians and designers featured in the video are sporting official FNO collection T-shirts. FNO is slated to go down in cities across the world Sept. 6. [Vogue]
