So You Think You Can Dance:  The top eight dancers perform with all-star partners and Jesse Tyler Ferguson joins the judges in this new episode (8 p.m. Fox).

Melissa & Joey: Anya Monzikova, Joey Lawrence, Melissa Joan Hart, Nick Robinson and Taylor Spreitler star in a season finale filled with surprises and twists (8 p.m. ABC Family).

Buying and Selling:  In the premiere of this new real estate series, accountants with plans to buy a new house have to sell their disheveled home (9 p.m. HGTV).

Futurama:  After saving a robotic fox from hunters, Bender becomes the hunted in the animated science fiction comedy's season finale (10 p.m. Comedy Central).

Necessary Roughness: The Hawks' season opener is fast approaching, and both T.K. (Mehcad Brooks) and the team are on the verge of disaster. Callie Thorne also stars in the season finale along with guest stars Michael Imperioli, Michaela McManus and Amy Pietz (10 p.m. USA).

Retired at 35:  Amy suspects Jared may be marrying her only for a green card in the comedy's season finale (11 p.m. TV Land).


Republican National Convention: Broadcast networks and cable news channels provide live coverage of the event in Tampa, Fla. (4 p.m. CNN, Fox News, MSNBC; 5 p.m. KOCE; 7 p.m. CBS, NBC, ABC).

Boardwalk Empire: Distilling Season 2:  This new special brings viewers up to date on events from the brutal drama's second series, well in advance of the third series premiere (9:45 p.m. HBO).


Tennis: 2012 U.S. Open Men's First Round and Women's Second Round (10 a.m. and 4 p.m. ESPN2).

Baseball: The Dodgers visit the Colorado Rockies (12 p.m. FS Prime); the St. Louis Cardinals visit the Pittsburgh Pirates (4 p.m. ESPN); the Chicago White Sox visit the Baltimore Orioles (4 p.m. WGN A); the Boston Red Sox visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN).

Soccer: Club Deportivo Chivas USA visits the New England Revolution (5 p.m. FS Prime).
