UCLA's Johnathan Franklin has Green agenda

Senior running back, who had 216 yards against Rice in season-opening win on Thursday, is 848 yards away from Gaston Green's all-time Bruins rushing record.

It gave him 2,883 yards rushing in his UCLA career, leaving him 848 short of Green’s UCLA record. Franklin is eighth on the Bruins’ all-time list, 31 yards behind Theotis Brown.</p><p> It was the second time that Franklin has topped 200 yards in a game. He had 216 yards rushing against Washington State in 2010. He is the fourth UCLA running back to go over 200 yards in multiple games.</p><p> Green and Karim Abdul-Jabbar did it three times and Brown twice.</p><p> Franklin’s performance allowed Coach Jim Mora to win his first game as UCLA’s coach.
