Richard Hammond's Crash Course:  In the Mojave Desert Richard joins a Rocket Scientist to help build and prepare a rocket for launch, then he works as a bike messenger in hilly San Francisco in this new episode (7 and 10 p.m. BBC America).

The Voice:  The top four artists compete and Michael Bublé performs in this new episode (8 p.m. NBC).

Take It All:  This new game show is based on a holiday party game (9 p.m. NBC).

Cake Boss: Next Great Baker:  The bakers are asked to make a cake for the cast of the Broadway musical, "A Christmas Story." Peter Billingsley serves as a guest judge in this new episode (9 p.m. TLC).

Hawaii Five-0: McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and a little girl are taken hostage by an armed man (Tom Arnold) during a camping trip with Grace (Kono Kalakaua) in this new episode (10 p.m. CBS).


The Hollywood Christmas Parade: Since 1928, this parade has been a part of Hollywood history (6 p.m. Hallmark).

American Country Awards: Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth return to host this third annual ceremony. Performers include Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan and Little Big Town (8 p.m. Fox).

Mel Brooks Strikes Back! Mel Brooks opens up for an intimate evening of show-and-tell comedy with the BBC's Alan Yentob (9 p.m. HBO).

Syfy 20th Anniversary Special:  This new special, celebrating the a milestone for the cable network, features interviews and clips from a wide range of scripted and unscripted series and specials. Dean Cain narrates (9 p.m. Syfy).

Michael Bublé: Home for the Holidays:  Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton and Carly Rae Jepsen join the singer in his hometown of Vancouver to perform Christmas classics (10 p.m. NBC).


Football: The Houston Texans visit the New England Patriots (5:30 p.m. ESPN).
