Costumes for Shania Twain's Caesars gig took time

Designing costumes for Shania Twain's gig at Caesars Palace in Vegas took designer Marc Bouwer six months in development plus three weeks of on-site finishing touches. Most of the clothes were inspired by ensembles the star has worn in music videos. One of the challenges: designing a formal gown that horses (part of the show) wouldn't step on. [WWD]
