Update: This opens a six-game home stretch for the Bruins, its longest stretch of games at Pauley Pavilion since 1998-99. Senior guard Jourdan DeMuynck leads the Panthers in scoring (13.9 points a game). Prairie View A&M, which returns five starters, was picked to win the Southwestern Athletic Conference this season after finishing third last season. UCLA last faced the Panthers in its 2008-09 season opener, an 82-58 Bruins win.
