Up next for UCLA basketball: Thursday at Washington

Huskies have solid guards in C.J. Wilcox and Tony Wroten.

When: 6.

Where: Alaska Airlines Arena, Seattle.

On the air: TV: ESPN; Radio: 570.

Records: UCLA 12-9, 5-4 Pac-12; Washington 14-7, 7-2.

Update: UCLA is coming off what may have been its best performance of the season, a 77-60 victory over Colorado. Senior guards Jerime Anderson and Lazeric Jones have been efficient as a tandem. Both are averaging more than four assists a game. Washington received a boost from the return of reserve guard C.J. Wilcox, who sat out three games because of a stress fracture in his left leg. Wilcox made six of 10 shots and scored 15 points against Arizona on Saturday. "Wilcox would be a starter on most every team," UCLA Coach Ben Howland said. "He really hurt us [last season]. He made big shots in the second half." Wilcox averages 14.8 points. Guard Tony Wroten averages 17.1 to lead the Huskies. "He creates a lot of havoc with his athleticism," Howland said. "He handles the ball well, is good at posting up and attacking the basket and plays hard defensively."
