Up next for the Kings: Monday at Nashville

With the trade deadline Monday, indications are the Kings are unlikely to make any more major moves.

February 27, 2012|By Lisa Dillman

When: 5 p.m. PST.

Where: Bridgestone Arena.

On the air: TV: FS West; Radio: 1150.

Records: Kings 28-22-12, Predators 36-19-7.

Update: With the trade deadline looming, indications were from the Kings that they were looking only at "secondary-type deals." Their big move, of course, was trading for forward Jeff Carter last week. They said they were probably done in terms of making another significant deal. Things obviously could change with one phone call from another desperate general manager. The deadline is Monday at noon Pacific time. Said Carter, who made his Kings debut Saturday against Chicago: "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit nervous. It was kind of a battle for me tonight. For the last couple days it was a grind out there. I'm glad we got the two points. That's the main thing."
