Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III watches drills at the NFL football… (Michael Conroy / Associated…)
Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner and his stock continues to rise after an impressive showing at the NFL scouting combine. With Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck likely to go to the Indianapolis Colts as the No. 1 overall pick in April's draft, a question remains as to which team will end up taking Griffin.

Robert Griffin III had an excellent combine even though he didn’t throw, and the Rams are the huge beneficiaries of that because their No. 2 pick is all the more valuable.
The most logical scenario is that Cleveland will package its Nos. 4 and 22 picks and move up to No. 2 to get him. But the draft is almost two months away, and lots of things can change in the interim.
Washington (pick No. 6) and Miami (No. 8) are certainly in the mix, but I wouldn’t be stunned to see Seattle’s Pete Carroll make a trade up from 12 to get him. The quarterback-desperate Seahawks blew it last year by letting Andy Dalton slip past them near the end of the first round and fall into the second.

Robert Griffin III’s personality makes him the equivalent of football's Medusa. Gaze at the Baylor quarterback, allow his charisma to charm you, and expect to be turned into stone. He's got a hold on you.
St. Louis is auctioning the No. 2 pick to the highest bidder, and the Dolphins, Browns and Washington are supposedly all interested. Expect the team with a history of making desperate off-season moves to eventually give a king’s ransom – which is the equivalent of three first-round picks – for the right to take the Heisman Trophy winner.
Redskins owner Dan Snyder would work wonders selling Griffin in the D.C. area. And coach Mike Shanahan desperately needs a talent to sculpt into a West Coast quarterback.]
