Katie Holmes left the house with one band, the traveling circus of paparazzi and news cameras following her, and without another — her wedding ring.
Indeed, Holmes was spotted out in New York City on Monday taping a guest judge spot for "Project Runway: All Stars," noticeably missing the wedding band Tom Cruise presented to her five years ago.
Palling around with Heidi Klum isn't the only work she's drummed up. Holmes will film "Responsible Adults" with Chace Crawford later this year, according to MTV News.
Staying busy may be the best move for Katie and certainly Cruise, who was reportedly blindsided by Holmes' decision to end their marriage (and to seek sole custody of their daughter, Suri, to boot).
Cruise is on the Iceland set of his latest action flick, "Oblivion," about one of the last remaining men on an abandoned planet Earth.
