Times basketball reporter Mike Bresnahan chats with CineSport's Noah Coslov about the Lakers' acquisition of Steve Nash and the possibility of pursuing Magic center Dwight Howard.
The two-time MVP of the NBA brings a floor leadership that the Lakers haven't had since the days of Magic Johnson. Nash is a career 49% shooter from the field, including 43% from three-point range. He's also No. 5 in career assists and one of a handful of players to average better than 90% from the free-throw line.
Bresnahan and Coslov discuss:
-- How Coach Mike Brown will take advantage of Nash's passing ability to run pick-and-roll sets.
-- Nash's only problem is his defense. But his offensive game probably offsets any deficiencies.
-- Howard and his representatives have to take notice that the Lakers are making moves.
