The Sparks play at Phoenix and then at Indiana on Thursday before having a five-week break because of the Olympics. The Sparks have won each of their last three games against Phoenix, including a 99-88 win May 26, a 90-74 win June 8 and a 93-84 win June 23. The Mercury has lost four games in a row and has slipped to fifth place in the Western Conference. The Mercury is led by DeWanna Bonner, who is averaging 21.3 points and 7.5 rebounds.
