This post has been updated. See note at the bottom for details.

Alan Jackson's show tonight at the Greek Theatre has been canceled because he is ill, a spokeswoman for the 53-year-old country singer told The Times late Friday.

According to Jackson's manager, the artist has a sinus infection. The show will be rescheduled for July 25.

There is no word yet on Jackson's show tomorrow in Salinas.

The spokeswoman said more information will be shared as it becomes available.

"There's just a lot of scrambling going on right now," she said.

[For the record, July 20, 6:17 p.m.: An earlier version of this post said the concert would not be rescheduled.]
