Ever controversial Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly has stirred up yet another little furor with his remarks about Justin Combs, son of rapper and entrepreneur Sean Combs (a.k.a. Diddy).
On his "O'Reilly Factor" show on Tuesday night, Bill reported the news that Combs the Younger had received a full-ride athletic scholarship to play football for UCLA. After complimenting the teen for his exceptional performance and for staying clean, he then took issue with Combs the Elder over the scholarship which, according to O'Reilly, was worth $54,000 a year to the Combs family.
"Diddy ... once the scholarship is granted ... and it goes in the records that the kid earned it, should've said, you know what, we're not gonna take it," O'Reilly told his guests Monica Crowley and Alan Colmes. "We're gonna give it to another kid, because there only are a certain amount of scholarships, even though they're corporate paid, they are limited, so they should've stepped back, paid their own way and let another kid have the scholarship."
Both Crowley and Colmes disagreed with O'Reilly, who applauded Combs for his achievement and thought he had more than earned his scholarship.
