Leave it to Chad Ochocinco to find humor in losing his job.

The veteran wide receiver was released by the New England Patriots on Thursday after a lackluster season that saw him on the sidelines more than on the field. But the bad news didn't prevent the former reality show star from staying positive about becoming a free agent.

"Thoroughly enjoyed the oppurtunity to play for the 'Patriot' organization… fans were … wicked awesome, I wish all of you the best,” tweeted Ochocinco, who changed his job description on Twitter to "UNEMPLOYED BLACK GUY."

Of course the question is, will Ochocinco's job description change before the start of the season?

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, says he's trying to figure out which teams may be interested in the six-time Pro Bowler, who was limited to 15 catches and 276 yards in 15 games with the Patriots last season.

It doesn't appear Ochocino has reached the level of indifference among NFL general managers that former Rosenhaus client Terrell Owens has achieved, but his prospects do not look too promising.

What do you think? Will an NFL general manager take a chance on signing a player known more for moving his mouth than moving the chains, or has Ochocinco hit the end of his NFL career?
