Update: Sparks guard Sharnee Zoll, who sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her left knee during a practice May 21, was waived by the team Wednesday. The Sparks, who are on a three-game winning streak, are in second place in the Western Conference behind Minnesota, which is undefeated. The Sparks lead the league in blocked shots (5.8 a game) and are second in free-throw percentage (83%). The Mercury, which is in fourth place, is led by Candice Dupree and DeWanna Bonner, who are averaging 19 points and 18.7 points, respectively.
