Antiques Roadshow:  The original 1897 letter that inspired an editorial titled “Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus” is valued in this new episode (8 p.m. KOCE).

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta:  Southern women hope to make it big in the premiere of this new unscripted series (8 p.m. VH1).

MasterChef:  The contestants travel to Camp Pendleton, where they work in teams to prepare a meal for 200 servicemen and women (9 p.m. Fox).

Gene Simmons Family Jewels: Hoping to distract Shannon from her obsession with adopting a child, Gene offers to take her on a belated honeymoon (9 p.m. A&E). In a second episode they Shannon hopes tries to get Gene back on the subject of adoption (9:30 p.m.).

Hollywood Heights:  Rocker Eddie Duran and his girlfriend head to Los Angeles for the last stop on his concert tour in the premiere of this new series (9 p.m. Nickelodeon).

Miss Advised: The stars of this new unscripted series give relationship advice for a living but have trouble applying it to their own love lives (10 p.m. Bravo).

The Glass House: From some of the makers of “Big Brother” comes this new reality series in which 14 contestants live together in a state-of-the-art house (10 p.m. ABC).

SPECIALS

Best Movie Kisses:  This new special recalls the most passionate, tender, and surprising big screen kisses (9 p.m. TV Guide).

MOVIES

One Nation Under Dog: Stories of Fear, Loss & Betrayal:  This new documentary looks at the sobering realities behind America’s obsession with dogs, including the millions of unwanted shelter dogs (9 p.m. HBO).

SPORTS

Soccer: UEFA Championship: Croatia vs. Spain (11:30 a.m. ESPN); Italy vs. Republic of Ireland (11:30 a.m. ESPN2).

College baseball: NCAA World Series (2 and 4 p.m. ESPN2).

Baseball: The Atlanta Braves visit the New York Yankees (4 p.m. ESPN); the San Francisco Giants visit the Angels (7 p.m. FSN).
