What do Demi Moore and Joe Manganiello have in common? Not each other, he says.
The "True Blood" actor put the kibosh on a new-couple rumor that the two had "amazing chemistry" at a premiere after-party in early June, with a source saying the 14-years-younger Manganiello was "seen waiting for [Demi] before they went off and hung out together at the party," something that made Moore feel "sexy" and "confident" once again.
"Demi has finally got her groove back — and it's all thanks to meeting Joe," the unnamed source reportedly said. (Can we couch that any more speculatively? Yeesh.)
"There is 100% zero truth" to the Heat magazine report, which surfaced via the Daily Mail, the actor told Ryan Seacrest on the radio Thursday morning. "I met her once at a premiere."
But they did have something in common, the "Magic Mike" actor told Seacrest.
"She was in 'Striptease,' so [I was] like, 'Hey, you played a stripper! I'm playing a stripper,'" he said, "and we kind of had a three-minute conversation about exchanging stripping notes, and that was it."
Clearly, it must be love. (He did say she was a "lovely woman," however.)
Manganiello, who was previously engaged to actress Audra Marie, has been single since they broke it off last September.
But let's not ignore the real story here: Manganiello and Moore both attended the premiere party for Adam Sandler's "That's My Boy."
And to think, we were under the impression she'd been exercising better judgment these days.
