The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach hosts outdoor summer concerts on Friday nights with big-name acts such as Wilson Phillips and Hiroshima. But there's no need to bring a blanket or sit in the grass. Travelzoo is offering discount tickets on reserved seating to four concerts in the series.

The deal: Reserved seating tickets usually cost $55 per person, but Travelzoo has a special deal for $35 each for Spyro Gyra & Lee Ritenour (Friday), Wilson Phillips (June 29), Bobby Caldwell & Jessy J (July 13) and Hiroshima & Marc Antoine (July 20).

The Travelzoo website explains how to get the discount. Make sure you use the promotion code "Hyattzoo" and click "apply" to get the $35 rate. Also, $5 handling fee is tacked on so tickets are $40 each.

When: The offer is good until 11:59 p.m. June 27 while tickets last.

Tested: I checked and found availability for discount tickets for the Friday concert featuring Spyro Gyra & Lee Ritenour. The concerts take place in an outdoor amphitheater that seats 1,100 and faces the Back Bay. (There are more concerts in the series, which runs through October, but only these four have discounted seats.) The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach is at 1107 Jamboree Road; (949) 729-1234.
