Update: The Silver Stars dealt the Sparks one of their three losses this season, 98-85, on June 16. That game was in San Antonio, but this time the Silver Stars will play at the Sparks' home, where L.A. is 6-0. The Silver Stars, who have lost three of their last five games, are led by Sophia Young, who is averaging 15.7 points and 7.4 rebounds. The Silver Stars entered Saturday in third place in the Western Conference, six games behind the Sparks, who are in second place. Candace Parker, who is a front-runner for the most-valuable-player award this season, is averaging 19.8 points and 9.3 rebounds for the Sparks.
