Looks as if Jennifer Lawrence and her on-screen alias have a little heroism in common.

The actress, who played fierce warrior Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games," saw an underage girl collapsed in front of her Santa Monica apartment building Monday evening, TMZ reported Tuesday.

Wearing a black camisole, gray leggings and flip flops — she'd reportedly been walking her dog — the 21-year-old waited with concerned neighbors until the girl was treated and released from care on-site.

"The 911 call came in around 6:41 p.m. on Monday evening. Jennifer Lawrence and some other locals helped a juvenile female who appeared to have been drinking and was outside an apartment building,” Sgt. Richard Lewis of the Santa Monica Police told Us Weekly.

The actress and the others waited by the girl until police and paramedics arrived, he said.

Lawrence — who has been dating actor Nicholas Hoult but, as reported in the new issue of Us Weekly, got flirty with singer John Mayer recently during a party at Medieval Times — is currently training for the second “Hunger Games” installment, which starts production later this year.

“Catching Fire” will hit theaters in November 2013.
