Dodgers' Dee Gordon set to earn just above major league minimum

Reporting from Phoenix — Dee Gordon will earn $485,000 this year if he spends the entire season in the major leagues, according to a baseball source who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The source wasn’t authorized to speak on the record about Gordon’s salary.

The minimum salary in Major League Baseball this year will be $480,000.

Gordon, 23, is expected to be the Dodgers’ everyday shortstop. He batted .304 with 24 steals in 56 games as a rookie last season.
