Kings tonight

AT CHICAGO

When: 5 PDT.

Where: United Center.

On the air: TV: NBC Sports Network; Radio: 1150.

Records: Kings 31-25-12, Blackhawks 37-25-7.

Update: They were about four minutes away from leaving Detroit with two points, and by the end of regulation, the Kings came away with nothing, having blown a one-goal lead in the final 4:02. These days, leaving two points on the table in the tight Western Conference, looms large for the 11th-place Kings. The late miscues against the Red Wings came from the leaders: defenseman Drew Doughty and center Mike Richards. Doughty and defenseman Rob Scuderi were a combined minus-seven in the 4-3 loss to the Red Wings on Friday night. Forward Brad Richardson was back in the lineup in Detroit, replacing rookie forward Jordan Nolan. Richardson had been a healthy scratch the previous three games.
