Kristen Stewart is in high gear promoting "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2." But that doesn't mean she's blabbing uncharacteristically freely.
Stewart hit the "Today" show Wednesday for a sit-down with the gang, and after some chat about the film and especially her character Bella Swan's transition from human to vampire, she spoke publicly about her relationship with Robert Pattinson for the first time since the cheating scandal earlier this year.
Obliquely, but publicly.
The task fell to Savannah Guthrie, who started by mentioning Stewart's many fans and their deep interest in her life. Are you back together with Robert Pattinson, Guthrie asked?
"Funny you mention that," KStew said of the question, making us wonder if permission had been gotten in advance to ask just that. "I'm just going to let people watch whatever little movie they would like to think our lives are and go for it.
"Keep 'em guessing, I always say."
We'll see Stewart and Pattinson together with Taylor Lautner at the "Breaking Dawn" premiere on Monday, no guesswork involved. The movie opens Nov. 16.
