Victoria's Secret Fashion Show taping is Wednesday

Victoria's Secret is scheduled to tape its annual fashion show Wednesday and the "angels" have been busy getting ready. That means eating next to nothing and working out like fiends. The show is to be broadcast on CBS on Dec. 4. [BuzzFeed]

Some of Lady Gaga's costumes, including the metal facemask she wore in the "Bad Romance" video, are scheduled to be auctioned Friday. It's part of the Icons and Idols 2012 Rock 'n' Roll sale from California-based Julien's Auctions. Besides some of Gaga's gear, the auction is to include a white fedora from Michael Jackson, a calendar signed by Madonna and other memorabilia. [Vogue UK] 

Michelle Obama took to the stage to celebrate her husband's reelection Tuesday night dressed in a maroon Michael Kors dress she has worn before. Ann Romney wore Republican red as her husband conceded. [Cut]

Actress/model Brooke Shields' mother, Teri, who managed her daughter's early career, died last week at 79 after a long illness. [Los Angeles Times]

Nicola Formichetti tweeted that Conde Nast is pulling the plug on Vogue Hommes Japan in favor of GQ Style ... and wonders if it may be the end of other Vogue men's publications, too. [Fashionista]

Meanwhile, in New York, Julianne Moore wore Calvin Klein  to present Calvin Klein Collection’s Francisco Costa, Italo Zucchelli and Ulrich Grimm the designer of the year award at the Accessories Council's 16th annual ACE Awards on Monday. [WWD]

The European Union is considering stricter regulation of perfume ingredients, including a ban on tree moss -- the ingredient that lends a woodsy aroma to Chanel No. 5 and Miss Dior. [Telegraph]
