Mission Hills Alemany (9-2) vs. Santa Ana Mater Dei (9-2) at Santa Ana Stadium, 7:30 p.m. (Fox Sports West): There will be no shortage of top athletes on the field in this Pac-5 Division quarterfinal. Alemany has receivers Steven Mitchell and Devin Ross. Mater Dei has receiver Thomas Duarte and defensive back Jonathan Lockett. The key is whether Alemany's defense can take away Mater Dei's ability to run the ball and force junior quarterback Chase Forrest into some uncomfortable situations. The pick: Alemany.

Los Angeles Dorsey (7-4) at Los Angeles Crenshaw (10-1), 6 p.m.: These two Coliseum League rivals meet again in the City Section Division I quarterfinals. Crenshaw's defense had four interceptions in a 34-14 win last month. Dorsey will try to improve its rushing attack behind Jeremale Jefferson. Crenshaw junior quarterback Ajene Harris has been a surprise standout this season and has shown he can also scramble if needed. The pick: Crenshaw.
