Update: This is the first meeting between the teams since the Lakers eliminated the Nuggets in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series last season. Denver was later a participant in the four-team trade that brought Dwight Howard to Los Angeles, as the Nuggets acquired Andre Iguodala and lost Arron Afflalo as part of the deal. Iguodala has been the Nuggets' leading scorer, averaging 15.3 points per game before Denver's game against Golden State on Thursday night.
