Dan Peres, left, editor of Details magazine, welcomes "The New Normal"… (Invision )
Mavericks are unbranded cattle, by definition, but each year Details magazine puts its stamp of approval on Hollywood's innovative set.
Editor Dan Peres welcomed the 2012 crop of Hollywood Mavericks — a combination of actors, execs, writers and directors — to West Hollywood's Soho House.
Chris Evans and Minka Kelly turned a few heads, walking through the space hand-in-hand, bumping into Andrew Rannells, Zachary Quinto, Sanaa Lathan, Garrett Hedlund and Amanda Peet.
Married actors Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller stuck close together, gabbing with funnymen including David Spade and John Krasinski. Bryan Greenberg (still going strong with actress Jamie Chung, FYI) showed late into the fete, nodding to folks like Mark Salling, Josh Radnor and "The Mindy Project"'s hot doctor Ed Weeks.
The Ministry spotted one of our faves, Lake Bell, in great spirits -- the actress is headed to Sundance in 2013 in competition with her directorial debut "In a World..." for which she also serves as writer and star.
Neptunes beats cranked over a second wave of arrivals, including James Van Der Beek, new dad Fred Savage, Chris Messina and "Game of Thrones" co-creator D.B. Weiss.
Guests departed close to 11 p.m., braving a rainy Los Angeles while exiting through a mist of some lingering Calvin Klein men's fragrance. Because every maverick could do with a little branding.
