Tom Reed's For Members Only: In this new episode Reed digs into his archives with stories about Bo Diddley, Toni Harper, Nina Simone, Little Richard and Chuck Berry (11 a.m. KSCI).

90210: An arrest scuttles Max and Naomi's (Josh Zuckerman, AnnaLynne McCord) plans in the season premiere (8 p.m. KTLA).

Gossip Girl: The teen drama returns for a new season (9 p.m. KTLA).

Market Warriors: In this new episode he unscripted series visits the flea market at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (9 p.m. KOCE).

Major Crimes: The death of a Las Vegas man appears to be a drug overdose at first, but as Raydor (Mary McDonnell) and her colleagues investigate, details emerge that point them in other directions. Graham Patrick Martin and Ian Bohen also star in this new episode (9 p.m. TNT).

Hawaii Five-0: Danny and McGarrett (Scott Caan, Alex O'Loughlin) are enjoying a relaxing day on the water when their boat is hijacked and they are set adrift in this new episode. Daniel Dae Kim, Grace Park, Masi Oka and Michelle Borth also star (10 p.m. CBS).

Revolution: Charlie and Nora (Tracy Spiridakos, Daniella Alonso) manage to rescue Miles (Billy Burke), and together they go in search of Aaron and Maggie (Zak Orth, Anna Lise Phillips) in this new episode (10 p.m. NBC).

Independent Lens: The season premiere episode "As Goes Janesville" reports from ground zero of the recession-riddled heartland — a Wisconsin town whose General Motors plant closed in 2008 (10 p.m. KOCE).

Steel Magnolias: Queen Latifah and Phylicia Rashad star in this 2012 TV remake (8 p.m. Lifetime).

SPORTS

Baseball: MLB playoffs (3 and 6:30 p.m. TBS).

Women's basketball: WNBA playoffs: The Connecticut Sun visit the Indiana Fever (5 p.m. ESPN2).
