The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency says Lance Armstrong's cycling team… (David Zalubowski / Associated…)
Re "Doping agency details cycling probe," Oct. 11
I don't mean to imply that Lance Armstrong isn't guilty of doping, but I can't help but notice that the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency can't provide a single failed drug test by Armstrong to back up its claim that "the U.S. Postal Service Pro Cycling Team ran the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen."
The USADA's reputation is as soiled by this as Armstrong's. Give it up, USADA, you've wasted everyone's time trying to destroy one man.
To what class of athletes does a seven-time Tour de France winner and Major League Baseball's all-time home run leader belong? Unfortunately, both Armstrong and
Barry Bonds will forever be regarded as dopers. Who will be next?
