Atlanta is No. 1 (Los Angeles Times )
Peyton Manning not only led the Denver Broncos to an amazing comeback victory over the San Diego Chargers, he also led them to a surge in The Times' NFL power rankings.
The Broncos were the biggest risers in the poll, jumping from No. 14 to No. 8. The loss hurt the Chargers, who sank from No. 11 to No. 16.
The Chargers weren't the biggest losers of the week though. That dishonor belongs to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who dropped 11 spots all the way until No. 23 after their embarrassing loss to the Tennessee Titans on Thursday.

The Atlanta Falcons, the lone undefeated team in the NFL, are still the No. 1 team, and the bottom two remain the hapless Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars.
There was a big shake-up in the top 10 after the Falcons. Behind Atlanta are: Baltimore (up two spots), Chicago (+3), the New York Giants (+3), Houston (down 3 after the Texans' first loss of the season), Seattle (+3), San Francisco (-4), Denver (+6), Green Bay (+6) and New England (-4).
